Over the past decade at communication design agency thomas.matthews, Sophie has led and delivered a vast array of international and award-winning print and exhibition projects.
Through her work and writing she has strived to practice the agency’s ‘ten ways design can fight climate change’ which are now seen globally as essential guiding principles to sustainable design.
Sophie plays a vocal part in promoting sustainable thinking in design as a co-founder of the new sustainable social enterprise Three Trees Don’t Make a Forest, set up to offer inspiration and tools to communication designers and as a co-curator of greengaged; a week long series of events for the London Design Festival 2008 that addressed the what and the how to do sustainable design.
