Design Council Magazine Editor, Paul Simpson, won 'Best Editor of a Customer Business Magazine' at the British Society of Magazine Editors Awards 2008.

Design

Best Designed Customer Magazine of the Year from the Magazine Design & Journalism Awards 2007. The judges called the magazine ‘deliberately different’.
Special Commendation in the Editorial Design category at the Design Week Awards 2007, where the Desgin Council Magazine was described as a ‘stand-out publication’

Typography

A win for best use of typography at the Association of Publishing Agencies Creative Awards 2007. The judges said the magazine was "Conservatively innovative, it's head and shoulders above anything else we've seen."

Aldridge Print Group (APG), printers of DCM, won the title of 'Business magazine printer of the Year' at the Print Week Awards 2008.

What the readers say...

Although the Design Council Magazine readers are time-poor and information-overloaded, they make time in their busy schedules to read it. 76% of them described the magazine as 'good' or 'excellent', with 50% saying Design Council messages came through strongly or very strongly. Meanwhile, 39% said they'd taken action on design.
