After taking home four Yellow Pencils at this year's D&AD Awards, Japan reminded us once again that when it comes to design, they are so much more than Hello Kitty and Pokémon. In the PechaKucha format, speakers will have 20 slides, lasting 20 seconds each, to share their stories about creativity in Japan.

As part of the V&A's British Design Season they will be running a series of evening talks with a range of iconic British designers including Kenneth Grange and Peter Blake. Some of the sessions have already sold out but the events team at the V&A have kindly reserved 20 tickets especially for Design Council readers.
