I am the Project Lead for Design for Europe (the European Design Innovation Platform), a key project co-financed by the European Commission at €3.8m, aimed at increasing the use of design for innovation and growth across Europe. Design Council leads a 14-partner strong European consortium, and I work closely with our consortium partners to deliver the 3-year funded project. My day-to-day responsibilities include: strategic planning, project managing, partner liaison, stakeholder management and overall, ensuring that the project delivers over the next 3 years, to time, budget and quality.
Before coming to London, I was Project Manager in the Singapore government, where I implemented strategic projects and managed high-level public-private partnerships to develop the creative industries at a national level. As a Programme Manager at the University of the Arts London, I led and managed several creative business development programmes, funding programmes and delivered training to creative start-ups.
I hold a BA Hons degree from the National University of Singapore and a MA distinction from the University of the Arts London, as well as being a PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner and a Higher Education Academy Fellow.
