At the Design Council my role is to work with government, especially with the DIUS and DCMS on policy issues such as competitiveness, science and technology, innovation, skills and the creative industries. I’ve worked at the Design Council for eight years on a huge range of projects covering issues such as health, crime, sustainability, competitiveness and exporting as well as corporate projects such as evaluation and feasibility studies.
Before I worked here I began my career as an economist for the DTI on small business, regional policy and energy issues and then went on to work as a business economist for the Institute of Directors.
