At the Design Council I'm the managing editor - I make sure we are able to tell compelling stories about design as well as commissioning and developing content for our website and other publications. My team liaises with design and business experts around the world and with the rest of the Design Council team, building evidence for all our programmes and policy work. I also look after knowledge management across all Design Council projects and in our work with our partners.
Before I joined the Design Council I worked as a journalist and was editor of a number of design and business magazines. I've also taught English at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and I have a PhD in Medieval Literature.
