At the Design Council I develop and manage relations and activities across Westminster and Whitehall, working with MPs, peers, advisors, ministers and government officials to influence policy and decision making in support of design and innovation role in the economy and society.
Before joining the Design Council I worked at the Hansard Society, an educational think-tank for promoting effective parliamentary democracy, where I developed and managed projects to encourage greater democratic engagement through new technologies, including online consultations for the UK parliament and use of new media platforms in the voluntary and community sector. I started my career as a journalist and hold an MA in Modern European Philosophy.
