My role at the Design Council is to maintain and develop the services we require in the building, supporting and improving the effectiveness of our core activities. A lot of what I do involves investigating alternatives to how we do things, to ensure we are getting value for money as well as delivering an efficient and customer-focused service.
Before I joined the Design Council I worked in the restaurant and hospitality businesses. I spent most of my time either setting up new ventures or sorting out sites that had particular problems and weren’t making money.
