Tell us your story

We're always looking for case studies of design in action

You can use this page to tell us about the way design has made a difference to your company, clients or customers.

What are we looking for?
We're looking for interesting stories with tangible results. It's important that you can quantify the results of your design approach somehow - whether that's in increased sales or improved market share, reduction in costs or time to market, or improvements in brand recognition, usability or staff retention.

What makes a good story?
Something different - was this the first time you'd used design? Are you in an industry that seems an unlikely design client? Did your design work have an unexpected effect? It's vital that everyone involved is happy to talk about what happened too - even if that means coming clean about early research, times of tension or difficult financial decisions. And we like to find out a bit about the people behind the story, too. Oh, and we like to show lots of pictures, too.

What's in it for me?
A professionally-written case study of how design works in their business on a website with a national and international audience. Companies and designers who have appeared on our site have found that it has raised their profile and  put them in touch with new customers and suppliers.

I'm a designer, can I tell you about our work?
Of course. We particularly like unusual stories from smaller business and public sector clients.

Can you guarantee our story will appear on your website?
Sadly, we don't have room for every story of design effectiveness that's out there. We also try to cover a broad spectrum of design disciplines, business sectors and regions - so sometimes we will have to hold off on, say, a new product design story to make way for one about a brilliantly successful piece of branding. But even if we aren't able to write a full case study on you and your company, contacting us can lead to lots of other opportunities to feature on the site. We're often looking for opinions, comments, contacts or views, for example.
