It started off very much more in the silverware business, and during World War II we made aircraft parts and we also made razor blades.  In the post-war era we were much more a subcontract manufacturer for other manufacturers, and then more recently we have concentrated on being a private label producer.

As a company they do, they do actually hold some kind of design heritage having worked previously with designers which, as a, as a student, I remember, were great, great names, great designers like Robert Welsh and David Miller.  But, as with most companies, sometimes it, you know, you can lose your direction and be, be confronted with, with other dilemmas, other challenges.  So, even though I knew that, that maybe design was not at the forefront of the company, certainly they had some kind of core that, that, that had a heritage of using, of, of, of having used designers.

But, what we really are now, doing now is building a brand based around good design, innovation and super quality.
