Certainly, when you’re doing something for the first time you hit all the snags that you didn’t know were there, and if you take a project with the IF4000 range, we’ve hit snags along the way, and the most frustrating thing is, you’ve the idea of the product, you know what you want to do, but you just keep using up so much time, because you’ve got to get the product absolutely right before you put it out on the marketplace.

The first material we tried to use for the knife handle, we found that it didn’t stand up to the dishwasher.  That was no good.  We then changed it for another material and we found that that was too fragile and broke.  We then, at last, we found a material that was tough, had the nice, cool feel and one that we could process within the factory, and also it withstood dishwashers, and was nigh on indestructible.
