The AIA (American Institute of Architecture) Awards encompass three Institute Honor Awards categories: architecture, interior architecture, and regional and urban design - plus the Twenty-five Year Award. The juries evaluate project submissions on two sets of criteria. The first is design achievement; the second is exemplary advancement in the areas of environmental, technical, societal, and preservation/restoration practice.
