AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts)

AIGA's members all work as designers, and membership of the association provides a forum for ideas and information, criticial analysis, research, and education.

AIGA was set up in 1914 as the American Institute of Graphic Arts, and now represents around 19,000 US designers. It aims to help designers in five main areas:

• representation
