LFA - the skyline tour

LFA - the skyline tour

8 May 2015

Overview

As part of the London Festival of Architecture 2015 we are delighted to be bringing back our popular London skyline tour, which completely sold out at last year's Festival.

At this early evening event, Thomas Bender, the Cabe team's Lead Advisor for Design Review, will provide a quick introduction to the history of tall buildings around the world before taking a look at the case of London in particular. This is an opportunity to find out more about the recent and proposed construction of towers across the city, how this development is shaped by London's heritage status and what it takes to create a new tall building which works well.

The event will end with an exclusive visit to the Angel Building's 5th floor roof terrace and a unique chance to compare the current skyline against photographs taken from the same vantage point two years ago.

This event is suitable for anyone with an interest in architectural history or contemporary developments in London, whether you are a built environment professional, a student or a member of the general public.

Numbers are strictly limited so don't miss out on this fascinating event.
