Bryn Jones, graduated from the University of West of England with a BEng Hons degree in Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering. He began his career as a manufacturing engineer, moving up into senior management positions, specifically associated with the management of manufacturing and product design.
In 2000, Bryn began working as a design and manufacturing consultant working on a number of projects within automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical and utility sectors.
In 2005 Bryn joined Hospital Metalcraft Ltd (Bristol Maid), becoming Operations Director in January 2008. Bryn has driven through changes in the company’s operations and overseen new product development. For the past six years Bryn has been an integral part of the senior management team that has seen the company increase turnover and profitability.
In 2007 Bryn went to the Cranfield School of Management, on the Advanced Development Programme for Senior Executives. An experience that opened his eyes to the wider possibilities that exist within a senior executive position.
In October 2008 Bryn Jones acted as Project Leader for Bristol Maid’s joint entry in the Design Council Design Bugs Out competition. The entry in the NHS Bedside Cabinet category produced an award winning product design. The product launched in 2010 and now delivers benefits to the NHS, helping in the fight against hospital acquired infections.
