#includedesign

Design excluded from the government's EBacc proposals

The newly proposed EBacc qualification will exclude Design and the Arts from the nation’s educational agenda. Rather than risk losing generations of design industry professionals at huge cost to the UK’s creative economy, we are supporting the design industry in urging the government to reconsider their stance and add a sixth pillar for creative subjects into the EBacc.

Over 100 of the UK's most innovative design businesses are behind the campaign, along with global design leaders including Stella McCartney, Terence Conran and Jay Osgerby.
