Industry challenges: Design and the London 2012 Olympics
The Olympic and Paralympic Games wouldn't be complete without their flame - and without spectacular sporting arenas and event space.
The Design Council has been working closely with the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) to provide independent advice on the design quality of the buildings and landscapes proposed, and to help ensure the highest quality design is commissioned and delivered for the 2012 Olympic Games.
