Growing design to build business

Investment: Growing design to build business

Design can make a significant difference to business and society - all the more so if the design industry is strong and designers are as skilled and professional as they can be.

We support projects, networks and organisations that invest in future talent and skills in design. We strengthen links between design and science, technology, engineering and maths teaching in schools. We encourage multi-disciplinary degree courses that enable design to be practiced in UK businesses. And we support professional development in the UK design industry. We do this because we want a world-class UK design industry that’s fully equipped to help business people because world-class users of design.
