About Public Services by Design

The practical experience gained in this programme will support Trafford Council to build on our successes in transforming services. It gives us the opportunity to have shared tools with local partners, enabling us to work together to change services for the benefit of local people. Transforming public services through expert mentoring

Public Services by Design is a mentoring programme that helps service leaders and frontline teams meet service delivery challenges. Our Design Associates are strategic design advisors with experience of mentoring in both the public and private sector. They will help you use design to ensure priority services are more effective and efficient and meet the needs of local people.

Since 2009 we’ve already helped a wide range of public sector organisations tackling challenges across a range of service issues including homelessness, adult health and well-being, young offenders, children’s health, and business services.

Our mentors worked across the UK with a wide range of organisations including Suffolk County Council, NHS Trafford, Lewisham Council, The Youth Justice Board, Tameside Metropolitan Council and the Children's Society.

Mentoring will start later this year.
