The City & Guilds Licentiateship programme offers eight individual modules designed to reflect the most contemporary issues faced by manufacturers.
The modules offer practical, on-the-job education for a project team or workforce to support an improvement project, and topics and content can be mixed and matched to adapt to the needs of each business.
Course content
The modules are suitable for companies looking to address a specific issue, and are particularly useful as an introduction into higher education culture for team leaders, junior and middle management.
These modules lead to a City & Guilds Licentiateship certificate, accredited by the University of Leeds. This may then allow individuals to be considered for entry to the higher level Postgraduate Certificate or MSc courses.
Each of the modules requires around 30 hours of contact time, to be delivered on-site at the company, with a further estimated 10 hours of individual project work. This timescale can be adjusted to suit the requirements of each company.

Cost
The full price of each module is £860 + VAT. There is a 50% grant subsidised rate (£430 + VAT) available for manufacturing companies operating within the Yorkshire & Humber area.
