APDIG (Associate Parliamentary Design & Innovation Group)

The Associate Parliamentary Design & Innovation Group (APDIG) is the leading voice and advocate for design and innovation in Parliament. They aim to encourage and facilitate dialogue between parliamentarians and organisations throughout the design and innovation sectors, highlighting their economic and social importance.

In 2008 the APDIG published an independent piece of research backed by a special award from the Royal Commission of the Exhibition of 1851, ‘Designing Sustainable Policy: How the UK design industry, Government and Parliament can work together’ and in 2010 they’ll be publishing a report into how the Government procures design and creative services.

The APDIG is a Policy Connect activity.
