Dale Harrow is an international opinion former, commentator and media persona on design, and the automotive car industry. He is an award-winning designer, academic leader and researcher.
Dale is Dean of the School of Design and contributed significantly to the RCA being awarded the number one Art and Design University in the QS World University Rankings in 2015. Dale is also Professor and Head of the Vehicle Design Programme a global centre of excellence in automotive design practice and education.
His current research includes two major projects redesigning the future London taxi and he is also the principle investigator and lead on GATEway – Greenwich Automated Transport Environment - a government funded £8M multi disciplinary to understand societal, legal, technical changes and barriers to implementation for autonomous cars.
Dale joined Design Council's board of trustees in February 2016.
