My main role is to help ensure that our financial reporting reflects the diversity of our work in both the public and private sectors. Drawing on my training as a qualified CIMA Management Accountant, I carry out a variety of tasks including assisting with the organisation’s financial reporting and business partnering for our major projects. I also work closely with the programme teams to ensure that their revenue and expenditure is correctly recorded, and support them to develop pricing scenarios, forecasts and budgets.

I joined Design Council in 2015, and this is my first non-profit accounting role.  I really value the opportunity it gives me to build a greater understanding and appreciation of the wider, non-financial aspects that help a project to succeed. Our projects are very innovative and ambitious, and that makes me feel passionate about working here. The collaborative, hardworking and friendly approach also makes Design Council a great place to work.
