As Creative Director and Co-founder of Tatty Devine, Harriet Vine is a British designer who constantly pushes the boundaries of what’s possible and challenges the very notion of what jewellery design is considered to be. She strives for originality and drives design innovation through pioneering technologies and techniques.

Harriet founded Tatty Devine in 1999 with her business partner and friend Rosie Wolfenden. Tatty Devine is an independent British company designing and micro-manufacturing original jewellery in the UK with two stores in London, over three hundred worldwide stockists and six concessions in Selfridges. Tatty Devine's aesthetic has become a language in which to talk about jewellery design and the style Harriet and Rosie have created has become a celebrated signature, recognised in every corner of the globe for representing the very essence of Britishness.

In her capacity as an entrepreneur and business leader, Harriet has grown Tatty Devine significantly over the past 15 years, averaging annual growth of 27% over the past three years.  She leads a loyal team of 50 Tatty Devine staff, including a core team of dedicated and skilled craftspeople who hand-make all Tatty Devine jewellery in London and Kent.

Harriet is passionate about promoting entrepreneurship, especially in women, is a regular guest speaker on a variety of design topics and has co-authored How To Make Jewellery with Tatty Devine.  In 2013 she was proudly awarded an MBE for services to the Fashion industry.
