Good design plays a vital role in creating places that enrich our communities. But development is fraught with complexities. For decades, Design Council has been delivering independent and expert design consultation to professionals in the built environment and helping them overcome these challenges.

At MIPIM, we will be promoting Design Council’s key areas of work, such as our design support work with major infrastructure clients, Network Rail and Highways England, and our Inclusive Environments Development programme, which we recently developed to TfL and rolled out to 500 members of staff. We also want to talk about who we are and what we stand for, as we celebrate our 75 years of Design Council. This year we’re attending MIPIM with an all-female team. Our CEO, Sarah Weir OBE; Director of Architecture and Built Environment, Sue Morgan; and Lead Programme Manager, Victoria Lee will attend to explore and develop partnerships nationally and internationally.

If you’re attending MIPIM and want to meet, collaborate or include us as a speaker at an event, please contact Sabina.Mohideen@designcouncil.org.uk
