Oscar Wokowu

Areas of Expertise

Having come from a working-class background in a predominantly ethnic minority part of London (Southwark), he saw architecture as a tool to improve and shape our communities. Oscar was awarded the Stephen Lawrence Bursary during degree at University of East London based his talent and potential. He has remained an important member of the Alumnus at the trust, championing better opportunities for students from under privileged backgrounds. Since qualifying as an Architect from the Bartlett (UCL), Oscar has gone on to work for practices like Haskoll and Dexter Moren associates.

He has built up experience working on mixed use schemes, social housing and town centre retail projects at different stages. In time recognising the need for a diverse team to achieve a holistic design outcome. He is currently a Project Architect at Robinson Kenning & Gallagher, where he has led the design and delivery of a warehouse infrastructure project for Croydon Council and the redevelopment of Norwich train station for Network Rail. Oscar’s design expertise lay in community engagement, solution focused design & co-ordination of various design consultants and shareholders.
