Mark Artivor is the Management Accountant at the Design Council where he is responsible for preparing monthly management accounts. In addition, he supports the business through large project reporting, pricing sales proposals, including modelling proposals, and is the first point of contact for financial and commercial support.
He spent most of his early career in audit and as a finance contractor in a range of large companies such as CGNU plc, GlaxoSmithKline, BT plc, working in accounting, consulting, and financial management. More recently before Design Council he was a business partner at TFL for the Traffic Enforcement Division covering financial management and the outsourcing of the accounting function to Capita.
Mark’s key skills include financial insight, management reporting, project appraisal and commercial negotiation support. Wrote and obtained approval of business case to computerise all Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) exams. The largest investment appraisal project for CIMA at that time.
Mark is a keen cyclist, Arsenal supporter and wine enthusiast (WSET Level 2).
