As a Programme Manager, Ross delivers our national infrastructure and place programmes – ranging from national community engagement programmes, embedded strategic design, and the facilitation of design advice. Among other roles, he currently oversees Network Rail’s Design Advice Panel.
Before joining the Design Council, Ross’s roles spanned the creative and charity sectors, amplifying the voice of the creative sector and supporting small enterprises, charities, and volunteers to build vital skills from digital communications to emergency first aid. He holds a BDes (Hons) in Interior & Environmental Design and has a passion for grassroots placemaking, co-design and community mapping.
Ross has a trusty road bike and a newfound enthusiasm for domestic tourism, once cycling from London to his hometown of Dundee.
