A network for people who have the compassion, creativity and courage required to create positive social change in Lambeth and Southwark. There are many people working across different areas in these boroughs who have tremendous talent and commitment to their work. If you would like inspiration, support and advice, especially if you are working within a larger organisation, come along.

Design Council has been working with many different types of social entrepreneur as part of the Knee High Design Challenge. We want to share what we’ve learnt, hear from others and explore the appetite for a network of like-minded people across Lambeth and Southwark.

  • Design Council and local entrepreneurs will share their honest reflections from running the Knee High Design Challenge with Lambeth and Southwark Councils and local communities, supported by Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity, exploring how creativity and human-centred design can play a role in social change
  • The New Economics Foundation will share their insights on evaluating public sector innovation and outcomes based commissioning

You will learn

  • From people in the social sector, hearing and sharing stories about creativity and social change

This will interest

  • Those working in Local Authorities, NHS and grassroots community projects
