Rory McAfee

Rory is the Knowledge Coordinator at the Design Council. His primary role consists of supporting the delivery of research, policy, skills, and network activities, whilst managing project administration, CRM updates, and financial processes. He is also responsible for ensuring smooth coordination across the Knowledge Team and wider organisation.

Before working for the Design Council, Rory spent time overseas in Australia and Thailand working for a human rights organisation, leading research and writing reports on issues of democratisation and populism. He also holds an MSc in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Outside of work, Rory enjoys language learning, coffee, weightlifting and running.
