Aurelie Lionet
Aurelie is a service and strategic designer passionate about enabling organisations and teams to use the power of design to improve life on our planet. Aurelie’s gathered service design, user-centred design and strategic design experience by working across a variety of projects with the public, private and nonprofit sectors over the past 10 years. Her experience spans from building user-centric digital services for the Met Police, improving banking accessibility for Lloyds customers living with dementia clients, and building a community of practice around sustainable design at DEFRA.
Aurelie has also been coaching teams to adopt user-centred design methodologies at Social Care Wales, Save the Children, and recently Reuters Media. Originally from French Polynesia, an island nation, Aurelie is committed to climate action through her work. In the past few years she's helped further the Thriving Planet mission at Snook, embedding tools for sustainable service design in her practice. She’s also co-founded Design Declares in 2022, a movement and community of designers sharing practice and taking action for the climate and ecological crisis.
She’s keen to share her expertise through training, convening, knowledge-building, and coaching the next wave of mission-driven designers.
