Grace Sciacca

Grace joined the Design Council in May 2026, she oversees the charities finances and supports the team with strong financial management and insights. She brings over 20 years’ experience in a career spanning the financial, retail and charities sectors.  Starting out her career in London and relocating to Sydney in her twenties. She gained a wealth of experience in banking and retail, with lots of travel in between! Taking a career break to raise her family, she returned to a finance role at an online startup and after several years made the intentional move to the charity sector. She’s enjoyed roles in health and welfare charities in recent years before taking up her role at the Design Council.

Outside of work Grace loves being creative with tie dye and upcycling furniture. She’s kept busy with her 3 children but makes time for live music and travel whenever she can.
