Maggie Baddeley
Maggie is a chartered town planner and planning and development surveyor.
She specialises in resolving complex project-related law, policy, and development management issues. She has considerable expertise in development planning processes at all stages - including drafting emerging plan policies to reflect diverse development interests and community needs. She has extensive experience of reporting and commenting on development sector implications of emerging Government policy and planning legislation, in particular to support public and private sector clients with their regeneration/ development strategies. Maggie has most recently worked on: progressing mixed use developments at all scales, in central areas, town centres and other brownfield locations; residential-led greenfield site projects; infrastructure proposals; all aspects of neighbourhood planning; promoting health and wellbeing-related policies for local communities; and preparing local plan evidence bases.
She is a design review panel chair, vice-chair and member in Cambridge, Essex, London and the South East, integrating her extensive knowledge and experience of planning with her keen interest in promoting good quality design and successful place making. She is a High Streets Task Force Expert, and a member of the Mayor of London’s Infrastructure Advisory Panel.
