Anna Roberts
Programme Manager
As a Programme Manager in the Place and Infrastructure team, Anna leads projects ranging from placemaking to social innovation. She is deeply passionate about designing regenerative, inclusive, and joyful spaces, with a particular focus on the decarbonisation of the built environment.
Anna brings extensive experience in management consulting across the public, private, and social sectors. She began her career at Deloitte and most recently worked at Atkins, where she led improvement projects within the Defence and Infrastructure sectors. She also worked as a consultant at The Social Innovation Partnership (TSIP), helping social sector organisations articulate and increase their social impact. Anna is an On Purpose Fellow and a trained primary school teacher, where she explored applying design thinking to improve educational outcomes for children.
In addition, Anna has completed the Terra.Do Climate Change: Learning for Action course and holds a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Domestic Retrofit from the Retrofit Academy. She is currently pursuing a master’s in Sustainability and Adaptation at the Centre for Alternative Technology, with a focus on the built environment.
An advocate for the power of play, Anna is passionate about ensuring access to quality, inclusive play spaces for all children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her young family, exploring different foods, travelling, and staying active through fitness classes.
