Ellie Fletcher-Bardsley

Ellie Fletcher‑Bardsley joined the Design Council in March 2026 as the Fundraising and Partnerships Lead. In this newly created role, she is spearheading, alongside the Head of Programmes, a bold new avenue of work for the organisation, focused on long‑term, multiyear and highly sustainable partnerships that set a new benchmark for the sector.

Ellie brings nearly a decade of extensive experience in corporate partnerships and business development, having facilitated, designed, and secured a wide range of high‑impact funding opportunities. With a background spanning both the UK and Canadian charity sectors and some of the UK’s leading charities, she offers a distinctive approach to partnership development - one that places relationship building at its heart. She champions opportunities that are mutually exciting, strategically aligned, and fundamentally make sense for all involved. 

Outside of work, Ellie is most often found running in Bushy Park, spending time with her husband, or exploring wine bars with friends.
