Design Council’s mission is to make life better by design. We work with people to create better places, better products and better services and systems, all of which lead to better outcomes.

One way we do this is to commission pioneering evidence-based research into the state of design and design skills in the UK through our flagship Design Economy series – and its sister document, Designing a Future Economy. Our intention is to publish the next Design Economy in 2021 (DE21).
