Design Council Cabe is pleased to announce the provision of Design Review and advice for a transformational mixed-use Irfan urban development masterplan in the Sultanate of Oman. The masterplan is being developed by a multi-disciplinary team led by architects Allies and Morrison, who were successfully appointed through an International RIBA competition.
Alfredo Caraballo, Director at Allies and Morrison, says: “We are delighted to have Cabe on board for this exciting and challenging project. We have worked with them on some of the most important masterplans in London, including the London 2012 Olympics, Kings Cross, Brent Cross and Cricklewood.”
“Cabe’s extensive experience in complex urban projects informs a considered criticism which we are confident will enrich our proposals. Large urban developments are, by their nature, the work of many hands and their design benefits equally from a range of voices.”
Our client’s interest in Cabe’s contribution is a testament to their aspirations for Irfan.

“We feel confident that Cabe's engagement will provide us with impartial, expert advice which will help us make better decisions and that the process will also save time and cost while helping to realise the aspirations of the brief.”
