Now recruiting for Built Environment Experts

30 June 2015 Written by By Clare Devine

Are you passionate about the design quality of buildings, spaces and places? Would you like to be part of an engaged network of professionals advocating and enabling good design in the built environment and championing the value of good place making? If so, then you might be the right fit to become a Design Council Cabe BEE (Built Environment Expert).

BEEs form an unparalleled professional network that provides design support for projects throughout England and internationally. Our BEEs are vital to support Cabe in offering independent advice on design in the built environment, ensuring that we create buildings, spaces and places that improve quality of life. Cabe is expanding the BEE network of 250 expert individuals, to support the new activities that we are embarking on, such as our City Model, Active by Design and Inclusive Environments.

We recognise the importance and benefits of a diverse, multidisciplinary network, and we are committed to actively promoting equality and inclusivity throughout our work. To widen our existing network, we are seeking experts in architecture and the built environment, including heritage and conservation. We would also like to recruit a diverse range of disciplines, including specialists in public health and community engagement, inclusivity, arts and culture and economics and viability.

The application window is now closed. For more information, please contact BEE@designcouncil.org.uk.
